Bishop Keehner to celebrate White Mass to honor health care workers
Bishop John E. Keehner and the Sioux City Cathedral Parish are hosting a White Mass Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Epiphany to honor and pray for active and retired health care workers. A reception will follow in the Cathedral Hall. Father David Esquiliano, rector of the Cathedral, explained the name White Mass refers to the white lab coats traditionally worn by those working in the health care industry. Organ solo concert at Cathedral
Solo organ concert offered at Cathedral Timothy Schreiber, director of traditional worship at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in La Vista, Nebraska, will present a solo organ concert Sunday, Oct. 25 at 3 p.m. at the Sioux City Cathedral of the Epiphany as part of the Cathedral Arts Series.
